Blockbuster Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and motorbike drama The Bikeriders are July's picks

Box Office hit Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, directed by Maze Runner's Wes Ball, is the stand-alone sequel to 2017's War of the Planet of the Apes. Set 300 years after the Human-Ape War's final battle, ape clans fight and enslave each other in search of the last of human technology. Kingdom follows a young ape (Owen Teague) as he attempts to rescue his clan from ape raiders.

Jodie Comer, Austin Butler and Tom Hardy lead the cast of The Bikeriders, a gritty and compelling dive into motorcycle culture that’s based on the real-life Outlaws Motorcycle Club. Kathy (Comer) falls in love with club member Benny (Butler), unaware that he is the first choice of leader Johnny (Tom Hardy) to succeed him. As violent infighting breaks out under declining leadership, can Kathy and Benny - and their love - survive? Released only last month in UK cinemas, this film couldn't be fresher.

I Am: Celine Dion offers an intimate insight into life for the iconic singer, following her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome in 2022. Described as ‘a love letter to her fans’, the documentary follows her heartbreaking struggle to return to performing despite her debilitating condition, as she endures seizures and exhausting physical therapy. It features footage and music from Dion's four decades long career, as she explains her determination to return to her art.
